Okay, I have to tell you the truth… I haven’t known about Carina till last Monday when I discovered KGRL. I always tend to miss the best things and it wasn’t till Mysty played a Carina Round song on her station that I found out about this brilliant singer/songwriter from the UK. I think the first Carina song I listened to was "Slow Motion Addict" and it got stuck in my head immediately.

I checked out the lastest flower-powered artist, fell in love with Carina’s live performance and read about the contest… I was thinking of dressing up like Carina and reproducing the CD cover but I realized that I look like a lunatic jumping up and down (my sister gave up on me after ten minutes, so I had no one who was willing to make pictures). And now all I wanna know is… How did Carina manage to look that great on the cover?

Anyway, considering the fact that I don’t even own any black clothes (I’m not one of those guys who used to be a Gothic boy in their teenage years), let alone a huge turquoise background anywhere around me, I decided to make use of good ol’ sympathy and hope that this works out at least one time! The last time I went down that road (and that was years ago), my mother wouldn’t buy me any more chocolate and left me lying on the ground and crying in the super market for several minutes. You know what, skip that part, I really shouldn’t be talking about my Mum like that in public, she’s the greatest woman on earth and I learned my lesson :) .

Okay, where was I? Right, sympathy. I’d really like to win a signed copy of “Slow Motion Addict” because KGRL Is responsible for converting me into a Carina Round fan. I wish I could have participated in the contest for the tickets but I’m German and that means that I most likely never get the chance to see my favourite artists because they won’t tour Germany in the near future. It’s always the same and a real bumper that most of the greatest artists live in the UK or the United Sates. You are really some lucky guys over there! So, since I would never be able to get a signed copy of Carina Round’s “Slow Motion Addict” I would love to win a copy via the contest on KGRL.

But I guess I should lay on the ground and start crying again, shouldn’t I?
